‘Taken’ exclusive sneak peek with Jennifer Beals

Bryan Mills finally comes face to face with his sister’s killer in the April 10 episode of Taken.

Romano Orzari guest stars as Carlos Mejia in the action drama’s “Solo” episode, airing at 10/9c on NBC. Clive Standen stars as Bryan Mills, a former Green Beret who becomes a CIA operative after Mejia murders his sister.

In the episode, Christina Hart (Chicago native Jennifer Beals) sends Bryan into extract information from Mejia. But during a mission to thwart a Mejia weapons operation, Bryan himself is taken. As the team attempts a daring rescue, Bryan relies on his ODNI training to survive.

Not sure when Bryan has time for romance in this episode, but Asha (Brooklyn Sudano) wants to take their relationship to the next level in an unexpected way.

The video shows a lighter moment in the episode. Christina’s plans to have a celebrity chef make dinner for her change when Riley (Jennifer Marsala) informs her that underground weapons dealer Tomas Vitek has resurfaced. 

Gaius Charles, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, Jose Pablo Cantillo, James Landry Hébert, Simu Liu also appear in the episode.

“Taken” is a prequel to the films of the same name, in which Liam Neeson played Mills after he retired from the CIA.
